Svix is SOC 2 Type II Certified!

We have successfully completed our SOC 2 Type II audit, and Svix is now SOC 2 Type II certified! 🎉🎉🎉

Weren't we already SOC 2 certified? Yes we were, we have completed our SOC 2 Type I audit towards the end of last year. This audit however has been for the SOC 2 Type II, which is more strict as it checks our continued compliance over a long period of time, compared to the Type I, which checks compliance at a certain point in time

Created by the AICPA, SOC 2 reports assure customers and other business partners that a business has appropriate security, privacy and operational controls in place. SOC 2 reports focus on five semi-overlapping categories called Trust Service Principles – security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy.

Since companies use outside vendors to perform activities that are core to their business operations and strategy, there is a need for trust and transparency into cloud service providers’ operations, processes, and results. Especially, but not only, in highly regulated industries.

Like with the previous audit, we passed this audit with no exceptions (no issues found), which is a testament to our commitment to the security, reliability and integrity of the Svix service. We are proud of our team, the systems, and the processes we have in place, for keeping the service secure and compliant.
