This is a quick update to let you know that we have improved our authentication system to make authentication easier.
What does it mean for you?
New users
If you are a new user, there's nothing for you to do. Just signup and use our webhooks service.
Existing users
If you are an existing user, you will have to do a password reset before your next login. This step will verify your email address as well as update your password on the new system.
We are sorry for the inconvenience.
More authentication improvements
Thanks to these changes, we are now able to tackle the rest of our authentication wish list. For example:
- SSO and social login - make authentication easier and more secure by making it possible to login with your existing accounts (e.g. Google) and organization accounts.
- Teams - giving multiple users access to the same organization through their own accounts. At the moment, it's one user (the admin) for one organization.
- Environments - make it easy to add multiple environments under the same account. So local development, staging, and testing can all be securely separated.
This is it for this update, though we have a few more announcements coming soon. So stay tuned!
